Three stolen motorcycles were discovered in a police officer's room, making this a severe situation.
The Overlords of Dagbon Yaa Naa Abukari Gariba II and other sub-chiefs gave their support to a group of young people who banded together to fight against hard drug dealers in Tamale because they believed the police were not carrying out their duties adequately.
One man was caught with drugs that were sized by the youth, and since he couldn't bear it he made it a court case. Because of the incorrect decision, there was a violent altercation between police and people yesterday, August 29, 2023, which resulted in gunfire. Police detained 13 people, many of whom were hurt when they were hit with hot water.

Three of the motorcycles that were stolen from the court on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, were tracked and discovered in a police officer's room.
